A word can begin with an oral stop followed by a liquid, and can be preceded by s or z. I haven’t defined what biconsonantal clusters are too complex to end a word, but, again, lazy. At the end, it’s mainly the inverse of the sonority hierarchy, though words can’t end with w, g or q. I think that’s it, initially (though I don’t think C y happens). Liquids can also follow fricatives and stops. Initially, Dothraki allows liquids and h to follow nasals. Dothraki’s max syllable is CCVCC (min is V) High Valyrian’s is CCCV:CC.
